Yoga Philosophy Book Club

What's my true reality? Why do I want conflicting things? How do I resolve the inconsistencies within?

Explore questions like these and more through discussion of the ancient epic, the Bhagavad Gita. No need to read ahead—we'll read the text and translations and discuss the ideas as we go.

Our text is Ravi Ravindra’s wonderful translation of the Bhagavad Gita. Dr. Ravi Ravindra is a fascinating gentleman who holds a PhD in Physics and an MA in Philosophy and was for many years a Professor in the departments of Comparative Religion, Philosophy and Physics at Dalhousie University. His wide interests give him a very broad perspective on the Bhagavad Gita, and his ability to reference multiple religious and philosophical viewpoints adds richness to his discussions of his translations.

Chosen Book:  The Bhagavad Gita, by Ravi Ravindra

The Book Club meets every 3rd Sunday of the month from 7-8:30pm to connect and dive into life enriching yoga philosophy books. This is a free event. Donations welcome.
