Nurturing the Core Self: A Journey of Embodiment & Renewal
Sunday, November 30th, 11-3pm
11am - Session
12:30-1:30pm - Lunch
1:30-3pm - Session
Our core self holds our most deeply held values, and is the source of the energy that flows out from ourselves. In this workshop participants explore the pathways to their core self.
The witness, an aspect of ourselves which supports mindfulness, also gives us power to pause rather than surrender to impulsive reactions. The witness will be cultivated through discussion, mindfulness meditation, yoga, experimental movement, artistic expression, playful dyad work, and chanting.
Participants may discover a new sense of compassion and curiosity for themselves and others. Highlights include a renewed sense of openness to the present moment, relaxation and creative expression.
