Spend time immersed in the yin practice and enjoy a weekend on beautiful Bowen Island. Allow yourself the space to absorb what your body and mind find during the retreat, in the stillness and small-town feel of the island.

About the teachers:

Danielle Hoogenboom founded Love Light Yoga ( as an expression of her yoga practice and creative interests, both on and off the mat.  She is passionate about yoga and its ability to heal, change and transform ourselves and the world. Believing that all people are invited to the healing of yoga, Danielle teaches a diverse schedule of classes, workshops and teacher trainings that range from the practical theory, to the mystical and sacred parts of yoga.

Harmony Shire, RMT, a new Bowen resident (aren't we lucky?!), is a fascial therapist focusing on the realignment of connective tissue. Practicing for eight years, she has found her passion in teaching the benefits and awareness of the fascial body and it's effect on daily living.  An early advocate for fascial therapy, Harmony's knowledge of this understudied tissue is connecting and informing the yoga world, and shifting the way we view our practice.  She has a full massage practice on Bowen Island and Vancouver, as well as co-teaching workshops.
